Access for everyone

Accessibility Statement

Our goal is a property experience that people can navigate, understand, and use across a wide range of abilities and devices.

Our commitment

Key to Lake Martin is committed to making this website usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a one-time certification.

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as a practical guide while the website is designed, tested, and improved. This statement does not claim that every page or third-party feature currently meets every success criterion.

Measures we take

Accessibility work for this website includes attention to:

  • clear headings, labels, page titles, and navigation landmarks;
  • keyboard access and visible focus behavior;
  • meaningful alternative text for informative images;
  • readable text sizing, spacing, and color contrast;
  • form instructions and understandable error messages;
  • responsive layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop; and
  • testing with browser zoom and common assistive-technology patterns.

Known limitations and third-party content

The website is in active development. Some demonstration property content, maps, documents, or services supplied by third parties may not yet provide the same level of accessibility as the core site. When an approved IDX feed is activated, we will review its public search, listing media, status messages, and required disclosures as part of launch testing.

We cannot control every accessibility feature of third-party sites, but we welcome reports of barriers encountered through a linked or embedded service and will work toward a practical alternative when possible.

Need information another way?

If a page, document, form, property detail, or feature is difficult to use, please contact the team. We can help provide the information through another reasonable method, such as a telephone conversation or a differently formatted document, when available.

Accessibility feedback

To report a barrier, use the contact page or call 256.392.3305. If possible, include the page address, the feature you were trying to use, your browser or assistive technology, and a brief description of the problem. Please do not include confidential financial or identity information.
